The five-star InterContinental Moscow Tverskaya hotel and business center was built on the site of the former Hotel Minsk, located on Tverskaya Street — Moscow’s central and most prestigious avenue.

A Hotel in the Heart of the City

The project was developed in an environment defined by a dense underground utility network, metro lines, and intense pedestrian and vehicular traffic. Six underground levels were constructed to a depth of 25 meters. A mandatory requirement was the restoration of a historic façade section to ensure architectural harmony with the surrounding urban fabric.

Complete Reconstruction and Modern Standards

The InterContinental Moscow Tverskaya was not merely renovated but fully reconstructed, meeting modern engineering standards while respecting the historical context of the city’s main boulevard.

Only high-quality materials sourced from multiple countries were used for the interior design, achieving a level of luxury and comfort consistent with the InterContinental brand.
